Matching Corporate Donations
When making a donation, don't forget to check with your employer to see if they have a MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM. Many corporations will match or even triple your gift to us. Some will also match gifts made by their retirees - so be sure to check with the Human Resources Department. Any paperwork needed from our end can be requested by emailing: info@adoptapet-il.org.

Honors and Memorials
What better way to honor your pet than by giving the gift of life to another needy animal? When a donation is made to Adopt-A-Pet in honor or memory of a pet or person, we will send a beautiful acknowledgement to that person letting them know of your gift (no amounts are disclosed). This is a wonderful way to celebrate any special occasion, or "just because". Just include a note with the details, and we'll take care of the rest!

Raffle Prizes or Auction Items
Our Annual Raffle is held once a year and is our biggest fundraiser. We need your donations of prizes. Prizes needed include electronics like televisions, CD players, DVD players, retail or restaurant gift certificates, theater tickets, hotel or travel packages, jewelry, gift baskets, or anything else that would be desirable to the general public with a value of at least $25.
Adopt-A-Pet's eBay auction site is up and running. We need your tax-deductible donations of auctionable items: anything unusual or unique, collectibles (dolls, figurines, buttons, coins), sports/political/music memorabilia, antiques or vintage items, brand name clothing and accessories, jewelry, themed t-shirts or hats (cartoon characters, animals, rock bands, sports), pet supplies, art, sculptures, housewares, gadgets, cameras, electronics, toys, books, CD's, DVD's, gag gifts, ceramics, planters, small furniture, gift certificates, cars and trucks! Items need not be new but must be in excellent condition.
