Buddy is a handsome lab mix, estimated to be about 8 to 10 years old. He's a kind-hearted guy with a zest for life! Buddy came from a rural area in Southern Illinois. His owner went into a nursing home, and the family abandoned him. A kind neighbor found him and called Animal Control to come pick him up. Even though he's a senior doggie, the people at the pound fell in love with him and made an extra effort to get him into a rescue group. Enter Adopt-A-Pet! Buddy is now safe in a foster home and doing extremely well.
Buddy is affectionate and outgoing with everyone he meets. He listens well and is very mild mannered. Buddy loves attention but will also entertain himself - he loves car rides and hanging out in his yard. He's good with other dogs, and doesn't mind cats. While we don’t think Buddy has ever had any formal training, he is extremely smart, housebroken, and catches on fast. He has proven highly adaptable in his foster home and very much appreciates being loved and loves to return the favor! Buddy is looking for a loving home for the rest of his days, preferably with a comfy couch to call his own or to share with you! Buddy's adoption fee of $225 includes: Vet exam, heartworm test, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, flea/tick preventative, deworming, heartworm preventative, microchip, dental cleaning and neuter. |
