Camilla is a beautiful feline full of character and personality. She loves to interact with her human(s) so be prepared to give her attention! She relishes a game of fetch with small plastic balls, and even "finds" toys in boxes. Camilla is curious and a great learner. Something cute she does…if she is trying to get somewhere and is blocked, she will look at you and meow, which is her way of asking you to clear the path and then she goes there.
Not at all a shy cat, Camilla will greet visitors and rub on their legs. She's used to sleeping with her foster mom but will not wake her up, even when it's time for breakfast. Camilla has the softest fur... she loves to be brushed and is always up for a neck and under-the-chin scratch fest. She's doesn't care to be held, but on the other hand she will be happy to sleep with you, and if you're watching tv or reading, she’ll often come and lie down next to you or plop down in your lap. She also doesn't jump on counters and she uses her cardboard scratching posts.
You might say Camilla is a mildly "special needs" kitty as she has a food allergy and is on prescription food. When she came to us she had several patches of missing hair...we didn't even know she had a medium to longhair coat, so she's faired quite well on a limited diet which you can see by her pictures. She may also need a medication on an as needed basis to help control any skin irritation.
We haven't had Camilla with other cats, but she seems to be quite happy as the only cat in the house. We think she'll do well in a home where she's given attention and has some windows with a view. She would be purrfect for any size family - probably no toddlers but yes to kids old enough who can read her cues when she's ready for quiet time. We really can't wait to see Camilla adopted into the loving home she so deserves.
Camilla’s estimated date of birth is 6/17/14. Her adoption fee of $50 includes her vet exam, rabies vaccination, FVRCP vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, dental, microchip and spay.
