Large and in charge! Meet Chunk, a very cute, very chubby boy, estimated to be about 1.5 to 2 years old and weighing in at over 13 pounds. He will come and cuddle on the bed or a chair with his foster mom, or sometimes he can be found adorably sleeping in the bathroom sink! He can be chatty at times, but not enough to be annoying. Just a little "Hi, how's it goin'?" once in a while. He’s perfect with using the litter box and the cardboard scratchers. He’s been very friendly with everyone that has come to meet him.
He likes to get petted on his head and back, but has an aversion to being petted on his tummy. He seems to think that tummy pets are an invitation to play fight and wrestle. So his new person/family will have to accept his little quirk of "no tummy touches". For this reason, we think he should go to an adults only home. Chunk also prefers to be an 'only child' and can be a bit of a bully with other cats. So he really should be the only cat in the home. Chunk will make a great companion for a single person or empty-nester couple. He's a non-demanding and low maintenance guy. Chunk's adoption fee of $170 includes: Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, routine deworming, microchip and neuter. |
