Guess the breed and win a puppy! We call her a "Southern Illinois Special". She could be part Collie or Cattle Dog or Australian Shepherd or Jack Russell or other Terrier, but honestly, we have no idea. She could be a mix of anything. This gal would be an ideal candidate for a DNA test :) Cleo's estimated age is about 3 months old and she currently weighs about 15 lbs. Though we believe she will only be medium size when grown, we cannot guarantee what size or shape she will develop into as a full-grown adult, so if you have breed or weight restrictions where you live, you should not consider Cleo.
But if you're up for pot luck, this is why you SHOULD consider Cleo: She's a totally happy-go-lucky little girl. Cleo absolutely adores all people, dogs, and cats. She is never hesitant in her affection. Cleo immediately bonds and is very trusting. While Cleo is very spunky, she is able to quickly settle herself. Cleo loves to play with whatever and whoever is available!! Cleo’s personality is very solid and sound. She is a confident puppy who takes everything in stride and can easily adapt to different situations quickly. While the crate isn’t Cleo’s favorite place, she will willingly go inside and settle herself. Cleo is starting to learn to go potty outside, but being a young puppy, she will need a patient owner who will give her direction on good potty habits and manners. Because she still needs potty training and obedience guidance as she grows, she will need a stay-at home person to attend to her puppy needs. Cleo has the makings of a kind, reliable, affectionate, fun, and loyal dog. If you think you have the makings to be her family or her partner, give us a call and come meet her! Cleo's estimated date of birth is 2/15/22, and her adoption fee of $425 includes: DAPP vaccination (distemper-parvo combo), Bordetella vaccination, flea/tick preventative, deworming, heartworm preventative, microchip and spay.
