This is Crackers, who was found in downstate Illinois sheltering in a car. This scrappy little guy has come a long way since then, and has found he loves the life of luxury, including a selection of cat foods, lap naps, under-the-covers naps, couch snuggles, kitten romps with his fellow fosters, toy chasing, and general rambunctiousness. Crackers is a fairly talkative fellow with a slightly peculiar little voice - he can hold a note for a quite a while if so inclined, mostly when asking for food. When snuggling or playing, he’s much more quiet.
Speaking of snuggling, as the above implies, Crackers is VERY into it - as soon as his foster mom lays down, he wants to lay on her, preferably complete with ear scratches which cause a torrent of purring. Because he’s so affectionate he really needs to go to a house with another cat for companionship and playtime, and to owners who want an attention-seeking snuggler. Of course, his personality may change as he ages but for now it appears he’s going to want to be a lap cat. He also does very very cute things with his paws - he curls them into a heart shape, tucks them under himself, lets them flop over when he's on his back and finds ways to make himself look simultaneously ridiculous and adorable. Crackers is particularly cute in person - he romps around the house in a jaunty little way that makes his foster mom laugh. He has a big personality for a little cat; he's a terrific little guy - give him a chance to make your home even more adorable! Crackers' estimated date of birth is 7-1-24 and his adoption fee is $195, which includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test (negative), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccinations, routine dewormings, flea control, microchip and neuter. |
