Meet Dot - an absolutely lovely medium-haired black and white kitty with the most perfect birthmark dot on his cheek. He also has little black patches on the backs of his legs that catch the eye when he's dashing off to another adventure. In addition to his good looks, Dot has a wonderful personality; he's very curious - always exploring any new closet, door, cabinet or kitty furniture you throw his way. As a result, he's also a bit of a Houdini - you always have to make sure he's not hiding when you close a door! He also is a cuddle bug - the first of his litter to try to climb up into the bed for nighttime snuggles, and inclined to lounging movie-star style on the couch. Dot's a very easy kitten to manage - happy to be picked up, petted, and snuggled, but also fine sleeping with his brother Dash. Typical of most cats, he loves the heating vents, sunshine, and relaxing. Dot has been raised in a house with a 60lb terrier mix, and has no fear of dogs. As long as your dog is respectful of cats, he'll likely be just fine with your dog as well. Finally, not for nothing, it's hard to explain just how soft he is - bunny soft.
Dot and Dash have been raised in their foster home together and are a bonded pair that would like to go to their forever home together. Their foster mom says: These are some of the best kittens I've ever seen in my life. I highly recommend them. We all like napping together and watching tv on the couch at night. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat. Kittens really need a feline playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home, wrestle with each other instead of with your ankles, and grow up with an always-available companion. Bored cats can become destructive cats. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we may consider adopting out a single kitten. We usually prefer that they be 4 months or older. But each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Many of our kitten litters may also be able to be mixed ‘n matched to make a pair if they are not particularly bonded with a sibling. Each foster home knows the kittens' personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements or mix/matching. Dot's estimated date of birth is 10-1-22, and his adoption fee of $195 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine dewormings, flea control, microchip and neuter. |
