Oh Henry! Henry is a happy and affectionate approximately 7 month old terrier mix with a gorgeous brindle coat. He has a positive attitude and not a mean bone in his body. He takes everything in stride. Everyone is Henry’s friend! While Henry loves to raz it up and play, he settles down easily. And while he loves to play, his favorite thing is cuddling with his people and belly rubs are a must! He loves getting compliments and in return, will give generous kisses.
Although Henry is on the smaller side at 30 pounds, he can hold his own with big dogs. Henry currently lives harmoniously in a foster home with 4 large dogs and two cats. Henry is incredibly smart and has demonstrated that he can learn quickly. His recall skills are amazing. He can be very far away and will come when called. He is extremely obedient and loves to learn. Henry came from a rural pound in Southern Illinois. When he arrived at his foster home he was not potty trained. He has made great progress but still requires someone willing to continue his training and is home enough to take him out on schedule. Henry will willingly go into his kennel whenever his foster mom needs him to. He is kenneled at night for bedtime and sleeps through the night in his kennel. Henry's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, deworming, microchip and neuter. |
