Margot’s nickname should be “Snuggles” because that is all she wants to do! Margot loves nothing more than to be hugged and loved - she is the sweetest girl. Whomever adopts Margot needs to be committed to belly rubs as it is her absolute favorite thing!!
Margot is an approximately 3 year old, 75 pound, beautiful, hound mix - at least that's our best guess, though she almost looks like she could have some large breed in her like a mastiff or saint bernard. We don’t know anything about Margot’s past or how she ended up in a Southern Illinois pound; however, it’s clear that she was someone’s beloved companion. We also think she may have lived with cats as she gets along great with the 2 cats in her foster home. Margot is also very respectful of other dogs and does not go looking for trouble. Margot loves people of all ages and is super gentle with everyone. She is a rule follower who follows commands very well. Margot is crate trained and her potty habits are excellent. While Margot can get silly and do her “zoomies” in the yard, her basic personality is super chill. She is happiest when she can just lounge around and watch TV. Even though she prefers the company of people, she is fine being crated all night and during the day when her foster mom is out of the house. Margot is truly a beautiful girl inside and out. Margot seems to “talk” with her eyes… She is a smart and soulful girl who just wants to be an important part of someone’s life. Margot's adoption fee of $395 includes: vet exam, heartworm test, wellness blood test, bordetella vaccination, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, flea/tick preventative, routine deworming, heartworm preventative, microchip and spay. |
