Sadie is a huggable, loveable, snuggable, and irresistible girl who will make someone an awesome doggie companion. She is estimated to be about 8-9 months old. She currently weighs 48 lbs. While Sadie adores people, cats, and other dogs - she is also a very content puppy who will happily entertain herself. She is affectionate without being clingy.
When Sadie first arrived at her foster home, she was petrified that she would be abandoned again, so leashes and car rides really frightened her. She has since learned that leashes mean walks and car rides are fun!! She quickly gained confidence and blossomed into a very amazing dog.
Sadie has good potty and crate habits. She sleeps in a crate all night long without complaint and during the day if her foster mom leaves the house. While Sadie loves to run and play in her fenced in yard, her exercise needs are modest. Her normal mode is very chill and calm. She is a very mature for a teenage girl. Sadie is smart, sensitive, and responds best to gentle direction. It is not in her nature to step out of bounds. Feeling like she has disappointed someone is the worst thing for Sadie. Because Sadie is sensitive towards her people, it is very important for her to believe she is a good girl who is worthy of attention.
Sadie has been one of the easiest foster puppies her mom has ever had. She integrated very smoothly with the dogs, cats, and kids in her foster home, and in short order she will integrate into yours!
