Guess the breed! We're calling him an Aussie mix, but honestly, we have no idea. With his fluffy butterfly ears and brindle coat and slight build, he could be a mix of anything. This guy would be an ideal candidate for a DNA test :) Sammy's estimated age is about 4-5 months old and he currently weighs about 20-25 lbs. We have no idea what size or shape he will develop into as a full-grown adult, so if you have breed or weight restrictions where you live, you should not consider Sammy.
This adorable fellow is a big lover of everyone he meets. He’s quickly settled in as one of the pack in his foster home, romping around the yard with his fur buddies and checking in often with his foster mom for a snuggle or a snack. When Sammy’s tuckered out from play, he loves a good nap in his crate or on a lap, and falls asleep soundly in his crate at night.
Still very much a puppy, Sammy is energetic and curious, so regular walks, play, and chew toys help keep him out of mischief. He’s a smart pup too, and is making great strides with potty training with being taken out regularly. He should not be left alone for long hours, so there should be at least a part-time stay-at-home person in his new home to continue with his potty and obedience training.
“We feel blessed to have had Sammy here with us,” said his foster mom. “He will bring so much love and light to his forever family.”
Sammy's estimated date of birth is 12/1/21, and his adoption fee of $425 includes: DAPP vaccination (distemper-parvo combo), Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, flea/tick preventative, routine dewormings, heartworm preventative, microchip and neuter.
