Squash is a very handsome, relatively small but very sturdy little male kitten who stands out from his litter mates because of his gorgeous swirl markings on his sides and a spot of white just on the tip of his tail (it's adorable). He also has a very handsome face; lion-like. He's a very social kitten who actively seeks out snuggling with his foster mom for scratches and snuggles. His first foster mom said he was her favorite and she really wanted to keep him. He is also comfortable and unafraid of his 60lb foster dog sister, so likely would get along just fine with any dog who gets along with him. Squash, like most kittens, is very active and curious and loves wrestling, darting around the house, and playing with toys. He'll be a great addition to any home!
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat. Kittens really need a feline playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home, wrestle with each other instead of with your ankles, and grow up with an always-available companion. Bored cats can become destructive cats. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we may consider adopting out a single kitten. We usually prefer that they be 4 months or older. But each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Many of our kitten litters may also be able to be mixed ‘n matched to make a pair if they are not particularly bonded with a sibling. Each foster home knows the kittens' personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements or mix/matching. Squash's date of birth is 4-30-23, and his adoption fee of $195 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, microchip and neuter. |
