Squeak is adorable gray and white tuxedo kitty, mid-size for her litter and the most quiet. At first, she was more of a cat's cat and was timid. After about a week she definitely enjoys ear scratches and belly rubs and will purr when handled, but just know if you adopt her, he'll take a few days to get used to her new home. She is also not very fond of her 60lb canine foster sister - she's used to her after a week and they hang out in the same room, but would prefer to live in a dog-free home. Squeak really adores playing - especially wrestling - with her littermates and playing in a tunnel toy with them. She'd be a great fit in a quieter home. Of course, time may change her (it usually does!), she may become more outgoing so we can't guarantee she won't become an outgoing social butterfly with a little more time!
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat. Kittens really need a feline playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home, wrestle with each other instead of with your ankles, and grow up with an always-available companion. Bored cats can become destructive cats. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we may consider adopting out a single kitten. We usually prefer that they be 4 months or older. But each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Many of our kitten litters may also be able to be mixed ‘n matched to make a pair if they are not particularly bonded with a sibling. Each foster home knows the kittens' personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements or mix/matching. Squeak's date of birth is 4-30-23, and his adoption fee of $195 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, microchip and spay. |
