Meet Stewie Von Wiggles -- one of the nicest boys you will ever meet. A 66 lb. bundle of pure love! This boy was found all alone by a fishing dock in Indiana and no one ever came for him. Their loss, because he is about as perfect as they come! Everyone at the animal control facility immediately fell in love with him.
Stewie is a mixed breed that we think is a staffie/pitbull with possibly some lab. Estimated to be about 3-4 years old, he has a beautiful brindle coat and an amazing disposition. Stewie’s favorite thing is meeting new people and dogs, and he is friendly with cats too, mostly ignoring them. No one is a stranger to Stewie. He makes everyone feel as if they have known him forever! In his foster home, Stewie has also become everyone’s favorite. He shares toys, treats, and food like the gracious guy he is. He loves to play but understands boundaries. One of the dogs in his foster home is older and cranky so Stewie is very respectful and gives her the space she needs. Stewie is a very sensitive dog who really understands feelings and emotion. It is very important for Stewie to be thought of as a good guy. He loves affection, but if his person is busy he will go quietly lay or chew on a bone to occupy himself. That's not to say Stewie is humorless -- He definitely has a goofy side also, as his foster mom tried to capture in the last photo. Stewie’s potty habits are excellent and he will sleep all night in his crate without any fuss. He also has amazing recall - he can be anywhere in his fenced yard and will come when called. Stewie is a people person, so during the day he prefers the company of people or other animals, but if necessary, he is okay staying in his crate. Because he is so sociable, he's not the kind of dog that would be happy staying alone by himself all day on a regular basis. The best way to describe Stewie is tender-hearted. He trusts people and loves very deeply. Stewie is seeking someone who wants more than a dog - but rather, someone who wants to add a trusted, loyal member to their family. Stewie's adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, heartworm test, DAPPL (distemper combo) vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, deworming, microchip and neuter. |
