Would you consider a TURNKEY pair? If yes, please meet Charlie and Letty, both happy, sweeter-than-sweet, fun and friendly dogs - in other words, they're easy-peezy! These two are very bonded, so we're looking to adopt them to the same family, couple or person. Charlie is a seven-year-old, 38 lb male Poodle mix (Cockapoo?). Letty is a seven-year-old, 60 pound female "Heinz 57" variety mix. They both know basic commands, are housebroken, walk well on leash, are great in the car, wonderful in the home, and good with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages including kids.
They lost their original home when their dad was diagnosed with dementia; he was forced to move and couldn’t take his beloved dogs. For the past few months they've been living with a fabulous foster dad who exercised them three times a day (something that was missing from their lives). This helped them to lose weight (which they're still doing), and made them so much happier. We know it's a big ask to adopt a bonded pair, but Charlie and Lettie are delightful and deserving dogs who will shower all the love they can upon their new (and lucky!) human(s). Their adoption fee of $275 as a pair benefits rescue and includes all you need to care for them. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. Please note that this is a courtesy listing, so please do not contact Adopt-A-Pet to adopt them, but DO fill out an application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and then follow up by e-mailing [email protected] for an appointment to meet them. They are currently in a foster home on the north side of Chicago.. |
